To the home of the San Francisco World Percussion Arts Festival.
Our bi-annual festival is almost upon us as we feature a once-in-a-lifetime, world premiere collaboration between four legendary musical artists from varying rich cultural traditions. Swapan Chaudhuri (Tabla), Kenny Endo (Taiko), John Santos (Afro-Cuban Percussion) and Riley Lee (Shakuhachi). We hope you can join us for a night to remember!

Nilan Chaudhuri
Received his first tabla lesson from his father at the age of 5. He’s gone on to accompany some of India’s leading classical musicians, and is based in the Bay Area where he teaches and performs full time in an array of styles
Raaginder Singh Momi
Violinist and music composer from the San Francisco Bay Area. Hailing from the school of Maihar-Seni Gharana, Raaginder implements improvisation, rhythmic patterns, and the sounds of Indian Classical music on a modified five-string violin.
OUR MISSION
The SF World Percussion Arts Festival presents public performances and educational activities in order to preserve global traditions of percussive art forms and promote original and contemporary works stemming from these traditions within current social contexts in order to reflect and celebrate our common humanity.
